Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 08 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all commercial transactions conducted through framedecko for our range of professional courses and training services. These include structured programmes covering the central hub for media feeds, professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy governs purchases made by individuals and organisations based in the United Kingdom and sets out the terms under which payments are accepted and refunds may be issued. It does not extend to services provided outside the listed course offerings or to third-party platforms that may link to our site.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All listed prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Corporate or institutional purchasers may receive invoices excluding VAT if they supply a valid VAT number. No hidden fees are added after checkout except where expressly stated, such as optional certification or extended access periods. Any currency conversion charges levied by your payment provider remain your responsibility and are not controlled by framedecko.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers for larger bookings, and approved digital wallets. Payment is authorised at the point of order placement. All card transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways that encrypt your details. framedecko does not store full card numbers or security codes. Authorisation may be declined if fraud indicators are detected or if billing details do not match the card issuer records.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A binding contract is formed once you receive an order confirmation email containing your unique booking reference. This confirmation is sent automatically after successful payment authorisation. Until that point, your order remains an offer that framedecko may decline. Access credentials or course materials are released only after the contract is confirmed and any required identity verification steps are completed.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which you may cancel without giving a reason. This right does not apply once digital course content has been accessed or downloaded, or once a live session has begun. To exercise cancellation you must notify us in writing within the period. Refunds for valid cancellations are processed within 14 days of receipt of your notice.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused courses where cancellation occurs within the cooling-off period or where the service is demonstrably faulty. Non-refundable items include any portion of the course already accessed, customised materials, certification fees once issued, and promotional or discounted places where the discount was conditional on full attendance. Services that have been substantially performed are excluded from refund.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your booking reference, full name, and a clear statement of the reason. Include any supporting evidence such as error messages or access issues. You may also write to 6 Union Court, 20-22 Union Road, London, SW4 6JP, United Kingdom or telephone +44 1483 234344 during office hours. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days and request any further information needed to process the claim.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Our team reviews each request within five working days. We assess whether the claim meets the eligibility criteria set out above. You will be notified of approval or rejection by email to the address associated with your booking. If rejected, the email will explain the specific grounds and any options for appeal or partial credit.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days depending on your card issuer. Bank transfer refunds are completed within seven working days. Digital wallet refunds follow the provider timeline. framedecko bears the cost of standard refund processing; expedited options are not offered.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital course access is granted immediately upon confirmation, which constitutes your express consent to begin the service and therefore waives the cooling-off period once access occurs. Subscription renewals are charged automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms; refunds on promotional purchases are limited to the amount actually paid.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

If a payment fails, you will receive an email prompting you to update your details within seven days or the booking may be cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically once identified. Chargebacks are treated as potential fraud indicators and may result in account suspension pending investigation. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate notification to the relevant authorities and withholding of services.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights include remedies for goods or services that are not of satisfactory quality, as described, or fit for purpose. We cannot exclude liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
